G2 has released their Fall 2026 reports and Skillable has maintained its #1 position in the Virtual IT Labs category – overall and across the Enterprise and Mid-Market segments – as well as celebrated 21 consecutive quarters as a Leader in the category.
The Grid® below represents the democratic voice of real software users, rather than the subjective opinion of one analyst. G2 rates products from the Virtual IT Labs category algorithmically based on data sourced from product reviews shared by G2 users and data sourced from third parties.
This report focuses on G2’s Fall 2026 reports and how Skillable has maintained its Leader posture in the areas of Virtual IT Labs, Technical Skills Development, Customer Education and the Relationship Index.
#1 in Virtual Labs
Across all business segments, there are 20 vendors vying for the #1 spot within the Virtual IT Labs category.
As mentioned above, Skillable has secured that #1 slot overall and across the Enterprise and Mid-Market segments and has been in the leader grid each quarter for the past six years, when we first partnered with G2 to accept user reviews.
The Virtual IT Labs category is scored by G2 with an algorithm that considers satisfaction and market presence, breaking the score down into the following indexes: Relationship, Implementation, Usability, Results and Momentum.
Skillable maintained the #1 Relationship Index spot in the Fall 2026 reports and was named the Momentum leader for the 18th consecutive quarter.
Leader in Customer Education
Skillable retained the Leader spot for the Customer Education category, which has been earned each quarter since joining the category in the Winter 2026 reports.
According to G2, Customer Education software, also known as customer training software, is designed to deliver educational content to customers and other external audiences. Customer education platforms are used to improve the overall customer experience by providing information around product onboarding, product training, technical support, etc., resulting in reduced customer support asks. Sales and customer success teams use these platforms to improve product adoption, customer satisfaction (e.g., NPS scores), customer retention and loyalty, as well as revenue expansion.
Skillable reached an NPS score of 100 in this category with its rankings for Ease of Use, Meets Requirements, Ease of Admin, Ease of Doing Business With and Ease of Setup – all well above industry standards.
Leader in Technical Skills Development
Skillable was also named a Leader in the Technical Skills Development category for the 13th consecutive quarter.
According to G2, technical skills development providers give users an end-to-end learning experience designed to teach and hone technical skills. Technical skills development providers are similar to online course providers, and many online course providers also offer technical skills development. The difference lies in how robust the technical skills development provider courses are, with each skill being built and demonstrated via various projects.
Skillable achieved an NPS score of 83 and exceeds industry standards in the areas of Quality of Support, Ease of Use, Meets Requirements, Ease of Admin and Ease of Doing Business With.
#1 in the Relationship Index
Finally, Skillable has maintained the #1 spot in the Relationship Index, receiving the highest score across the Virtual IT Lab providers with a score of 92% (well above the 81% industry average).
According to G2, a product’s Relationship score is calculated by a proprietary algorithm that factors in real-user satisfaction ratings for a number of relationship-related review questions to streamline the buying process and quickly identify the products that provide the best relationship with software sellers based on the experiences of their peers.
