Configuration options
Skillable offers two flexible ways to enable VM multiple-display support depending on your lab setup:
1. Enhanced Session Mode (ESM)
A simple option for Windows VMs running on Hyper-V. Configuration is quick and applied at the VM profile level.
2. Custom VM Endpoints
A more advanced option that supports both Windows and Linux on Hyper-V and ESX. This setup maintains login states, supports nested virtualization and gives Lab Developers additional flexibility.
Both configurations enable learners to open additional display windows directly from the lab client and arrange them across their physical monitors. The Skillable lab client automatically detects window placement for smooth navigation and a consistent experience.
