Senior Vice President of Sales

Dave Staal is the Vice President of Sales for Skillable, managing the direct go-to-market Sales team. Dave has spent the sales portion of his career working for high-growth technology companies, most recently as the Regional Vice President of Sales for Degreed, the largest learning experience platform in the industry with more than 350 enterprise clients.

Additional sales experiences include Entrata where Dave spent three years as an individual contributor and four years as a sales leader, helping grow the company from a three-product solution provider with less than $30M ARR SaaS to a platform with more than 25 product and services offerings and $150M+ ARR SaaS.

Dave resides in the greater Seattle area with his wife and four children. When talking about his interests, he describes himself as a golden retriever in that he enjoys any activity that includes a ball or stick: most notably golf, pickleball, basketball and hiking. Dave is an avid DIYer and also took up marathoning beginning in 2021.
